Scotland Name International Squads For Early 2012

Scotland's squad for their third match in the 2011-13 Intercontinental Cup competition against the UAE has seen young batsmen Ewan Chalmers and Freddie Coleman called up in place of the experienced duo of Kyle Coetzer - who is set to play in the Bangladesh Premier League for the Chittagong Kings - and Josh Davey - who is currently in South Africa with his county Middlesex. Pace bowler Alasdair Evans has also been added to the squad as cover.
 
The International Cricket Council (ICC) 2015 Cricket World Cup Local Organising Committee has met with the Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, and Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key, in Melbourne Australia. To mark the occasion, the Prime Ministers were each presented with a specially produced ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC2015) bat signed by the captains of the Australian and New Zealand cricket teams, Michael Clarke and Ross Taylor.
South Australian Cricket Association chief executive John Harnden has been named as the chief executive officer of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. He has been appointed by James Strong, who is the chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the event, which will be hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
Cricket Australia (CA) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have appointed Ralph Waters as Deputy Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2015 World Cup, which Australia and New Zealand will co-host. New Zealander Waters will act as deputy to Australian James Strong, who was last week named as the Chairman of the LOC.
Cricket Australia (CA) and Cricket New Zealand (CNZ) have revealed the appointment of James Strong as Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The competition will be joint-hosted by the two countries and Strong will oversee the delivery of the tournament, including appointing a Chief Executive Officer.
