Inter Services T20 2012 Launches At Lord's - ahead of the Inter Services T20 competition, which takes place on 19th June, Cricket World catches up with players, administrators and stakeholders to talk about the event.

Following the announcement that once again Lord's will host the Inter Services Twenty20 on 19th June, tickets are now available for the event.
It is with great pleasure that the Combined Services Cricket Association can announce that the Inter Services Twenty20 Tournament (IST20 2012) will, once again, be held at Lord's Cricket Ground on Tuesday 19 June 2012. This is the fifth year in a row that Services cricket has been hosted by Marylebone Cricket Club back at Lord's, and the third year running for the Inter Services Twenty20.
On Sunday 7th August, gates open at 12 noon, the England Disability team will be playing the Army Development squad at the historic ground of Bournville Cricket Club.
The Royal Air Force were the winners of this year's Inter-Service T20 competition at Lord's, beating the Royal Navy in the final. Under heavy skies the Royal Air Force played the Royal Navy in the first game; the Royal Navy setting a challenging target of 148 off 19 overs (Duckworth Lewis score), due in no small part to some fine batting by new cap Marine Rob Urrman (73 no).

The Royal Air Force Cricket Association (RAFCA) won their first Inter Services Twenty20 (IST20) competition at a wet but well supported home of cricket - Lord's. The MCC hosted the Armed Forces IST20 for the second year in a row, much to the delight of the players and crowd alike although the weather would undoubtedly have a say in the day's proceedings.

He pays tribute to the outstanding work done by the armed forces before taking time to look ahead to the England-Sri Lanka One-Day International series, urging England to improve on their recent limited overs form.
