The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that England Women will play their counterparts from Ireland and Pakistan in three additional Twenty20 Internationals in June and September. They will play Ireland on 23rd June at Loughborough as part of their preparations for the series against India Women and take on Pakistan on 4th and 5th September ahead of the Twenty20 series against the West Indies.
Half-centuries from Charlotte Edwards and Lydia Greenway helped England clinch a six-wicket win over India in their opening match of the Women's Quadrangular One-Day International series in Derby. Both players scored 51 with Greenway unbeaten when the winning runs were hit as England closed on 205 for four, overhauling India's 202 for nine with more than four overs in hand.
England have called up Georgia Elwiss as a replacement for Jenny Gunn in their squad for the Women's Quadrangular One-Day International tournament which gets underway on 30th June. Gunn has suffered a back injury and will now undergo further investigations to determine the extent of the injury but she has been ruled out of the series, which ends with the final on 7th July at Wormsley.

Louth and England cricketer Arran Brindle celebrated being named in England Women's squad to play Australia, India and New Zealand later this summer with an innings of 128 for Louth in the ECB Lincolnshire Premier League. Brindle, who is set to make her return to international cricket following a five-year break, top scored in her side's innings against Market Deeping as they went on to record a comprehensive 72-run win as she took her season's average to 67.

The result, achieved with one ball to spare, earned England a first series win over Australia in Australia following victories in the opening two matches in Adelaide and Perth.
